1687846yp workaround for Simplicity models
The key switch conversion kit 1687846yp has been made NLA. This is only a workaround for the Simplicity models that have the black box or control panel bolted to the firewall between the battery and the engine. See below pic for reference.

You will need a key switch 7106169yp and a key 7106170yp.

You will unplug the push button starter switch, dispose of the switch and that connector is no longer used, zip tied to the same harness there will be a 5 pin connector (Ref D). The new key switch will plug into this, the safety key (Ref A) the wires on the back of the switch need to be disconnected on the backside and left open. The control panel pictured above ( Ref 0430) needs to be disconnected and removed as well. The connector is not used anymore. The machine has now been converted to a key switch.
